Good rest and a beautiful morning

I settled into bed around 5am this morning with headphones set to "oscillating fan" and my eye mask.  Had peaceful sleep until I woke at 9:55.  Spent some time on the computer and hopped into the bathroom for a shower.  Its nice that the bathroom becomes so nice and steamy, but I have to wait awhile to use the mirror in there because there is no ventilation.  I enjoyed the big juicy strawberries for breakfast.  They are quite possibly the best strawberries I've ever tasted.

I was supposed to meet Mrs. Seol to discuss the program.  When I spoke with her on Tuesday, I thought she wanted to meet me at noon for lunch and discussion.  I waited in my room for her to arrive and then decided to go to the lobby to see if she was there instead.  I asked the doorman and he told me she was on the 4th floor, so I headed up there.  When I arrived, she and her coworkers were in the lunchroom and she seemed like she was eager to see me.  Apparently she had been calling my room all morning and had knocked on my door wanting to meet earlier.  Only problem was that she was calling and knocking on the wrong door, 501.  I am in room 502.  We chatted briefly and she suggested I come back at 1:30 after I have some lunch and they finish their lunch break.

And so, I came back to my room to make some ramen.  I filled the water kettle and turned it on, later realizing  it wasn't plugged in.  Then it dawned on me that I have no fork or spoon, so I ran up to ask Mrs. Seol for a fork or spoon.  She answered with "how about ooden chopsticks?"  But of course she would offer wooden chopsticks, we don't eat with a fork in Korea!  Now I sit here waiting for my scorching hot spicy ramen to cool down so I can eat it.  Shout out to Kim Palmer for getting me hooked on it!  Hopefully I can devour it before 1:30.  My beverage is a 1.5 liter bottle of Coke Zero.  Drinking from the bottle, as I have no cup so I feel like I'm drinking a 40 of Colt 45. haha  Making a note to pick up some chopsticks, napkins and a cup while I'm out.  1:04pm and I successfully consumed my noodles with time to spare.  Having a bit of trouble with the wifi connection.

In the elevator today, there is quite a stench.  I am known to be sensitive to smell and this one is less than desirable- a combo of sewage and Korean flatulence, how pleasant!  Thank goodness its a short ride to the 5th floor, perhaps I will opt to take the stairs today.
Hello friends, its me
Sarah shared a few pics of her and the boys last night. :) Thank goodness for technology so we can stay connected.

Time for me to go downstairs to meet with Mrs. Seol.  Bye for now.
